Vivienne worked passionately and relentlessly on her Foundation Fashion collection in the years, weeks and days leading up to her death. The collection was intended to be the first of many, however it turned out to be her last. It is extremely rich in new and iconic graphics and designs. The culmination of a lifetime's work.
Whilst we navigate how best to present, produce and distribute such precious and important designs. With the voice of Vivienne ringing in our ears saying “just get on with it” we wanted to make a start and positive step forward with some of the many things she left behind.
Vivienne set out to design a T-shirt base which she felt was more in tune with the body, more of a luxury garment and more special. Therefore, she decided to create this simple draped neck shape which not only flatters the body but also flatters the graphics printed on it in the way that it hides, unfurls and exposes the image like a flag blowing in the wind.
Prior to her death, Vivienne designed and manufactured a beautiful draped neck T-shirt to use as a base for her print artwork. We have decided to use these existing base garments to produce four different T-shirt designs, to support four organisations in line with the four pillars of the Foundation.

The Erasing 76 Crimes news site (76crimes.com) covers the human toll of dozens of countries’ anti-gay laws and the struggle to repeal them.
Through the site's Project Not Alone, we publicize the stories of imprisoned victims of homophobia in Cameroon and Nigeria and invite readers to donate money to feed and free those prisoners. We have freed more than 45 LGBTQ prisoners since 2019.
Through the site's Qtalk project, the free Qtalk smart-phone app connects LGBTQ+ Nigerians to confidential advice from volunteer counselors. Currently, it serves more than 4,000 Android and iPhone users. -
