This image of the Baby Satyr, a mythical creature half man half goat, celebrated by pagan culture, was a favourite of Vivienne’s. The original artwork was created by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. She adored his pose with his chubby arms and hands reaching up to the sky. He is carrying one of her favourite slogans ‘Buy Less’.
